Fresno Lodge No. 247 – Vision Statement
Masonry is the world's first and largest fraternal organization. It
is a body of knowledge and a system of ethics based on the belief
that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being
devoted to his family, faith, country, and fraternity.
As Masons, we lead by example, give back to our communities,
and support numerous Masonic philanthropies. We invest in
children, our neighborhoods, and our future.
Fresno Lodge No. 247 has adopted a Vision statement that is our
guiding force behind all that we do. Please take some time to
read and understand our Vision.
As a group of Masons, we are organized and dedicated to the
purpose of providing men of good character a place to enjoy
fellowship with one another as well as to continue their moral,
ethical, intellectual, and leadership development. We learn, we
teach, we mentor, and we support each other. The bonds of
brotherhood enable us to enjoy and share a sanctuary from the
stresses and turmoil of the non-Masonic world with our families,
Masonic Youth Groups, appendant and concordant Masonic
organizations, prospective members, and the community at large.
The Lodge is always friendly, safe, and secure environment where
we are all equal and welcomed, valued for our ability to
contribute and take part in the duties and responsibilities of
Masonic membership. Each of us believes in and acts with high
morals and ethics and endeavors to inspire in others the same.
We respect our traditions and history and together we
participate in and plan for an even greater future made possible
by visionary leadership, good governance and prudent
stewardship of the lodge’s resources.
